Traonyx

The traonyx stone is a combination of travertine and onyx. Traonyx has the attributes of both travertine and marble. It uses at interior and exterior design. In addition, the traonyx consists of minerals such as aragonite clastic and iron carbonate.

Next, Traonyx is found in both travertine and marble mines. It has a special and unique property from both type of stone that is passing light from part of onyx material but the other part would not and illustrate travertine material.

Furthermore, the strength and longevity of the stone make this material used both in building decoration and interior decoration. Further, traonyx stone is available in different colors such as yellow, red, white and chocolate.

Disadvantages of Traonyx:

• First, because of low resistance to water absorption of traonyx, it is not used for building facades.
• Then traonyx stones do not have a uniform design and plan. Therefore, it is not a good choice option for who are interested in uniform and matching designs.
• Finally, as of the coldness of this stone, it is not recommended to use it in cold environments.
